Firth Consulting was formed by Charles Firth in 2005 to focus on local IT support and solutions, with a specialization in integration of OSX and Windows networks. Charles brings over 20 years of professional experience in the IT field - from setting up Windows NT Server and AppleShare services to modern Windows Server 2012R2 and OSX 10.12 “Sierra” servers. Before founding Firth Consulting, Charles worked for a local Windows-centric IT solutions provider that specialized in Education. This means Firth Consulting retains a unique view into the needs of academic institutions. Firth Consulting continues to work closely with several local IT solution providers to expand their support to cover the OSX platform.

Firth Consulting also formed strategic partnerships with other local members of the Apple Consultants Network (ACN) to ensure Mac users in the area receive the best possible support. This has placed Charles, a long time dual-platform expert, in the strange position of going from being the “Mac guy” in a Windows shop to being the “Windows guy” in a crowd of Mac experts.

With a passion and focus on practical IT solutions, Firth Consulting has provided premiere OSX Server support for local businesses and K-12 schools. A careful blend of technical skills and personal skills allows Firth Consulting to work closely with in-house IT staff and users to ensure clean, open, and accurate communication and results.
